On August 2, 2021, the Appliance & Electronics World Expo 2022 (AWE2022) was official launched. According to the AWE Organizing Committee, the AWE2022 under the theme of 'Smartize the Future' will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from March 17 to 20, 2022.

Despite the postponement of the AWE2020 to 2021 and the venue change due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the world still witnessed a grand opening and perfect closing of the AWE2021.
