AWE Award ceremony 2017 was convened by CHEAA on March 11, 2017, the 3rd day of AWE 2017. Smith’s air purifier KJ1200F-B01, Samsung’s QLED TV QA65Q8CAMJXXZ, Samsung’s French door refrigerator GE ZET1FQSL1SS, LG’s Signature washer WDRH657A0PW, and Panasonic’s hand-held cleaner MC-8D76C.
With the highest credibility in home appliance and consumer electronics sector, AWE Award sets the highest bar of the industry, and embodies the latest technology trends. With a high threshold and a wide coverage, it is credited as “the bellwether of home appliance and consumer electronics sector”.
Out of 30,000 applicants, 608 were nominated, and 206 made the cut to the second round of evaluation. Through documents, products, and onsite evaluation, experts of AWE Award Committee collectively select winners for the seven award categories. And the Consumer Choice Award, as usual, comes out through public voting at JD.COM. It is learned that, this year’s Consumer Choice Award witnessed votes from nearly a million consumers, setting a new record.
Seven award categories of AWE Awards are: Gold Award, Innovation Award, Environmental Protection Award, Best Design Award, Smartness Award, Best Product Award, and Best Part and Accessory Award.
